You’ll find God uses a whole different type of curriculum in this hands-on, missions preparation. MM is based on decades of real-world experience with the goal of giving our teams a head-start in successfully serving Christ wherever God may lead them.
Bathed in prayer: The greatest desire and joy is to see God glorified and His Body equipped for last-days service. Each aspect of MM is bathed in prayer by seasoned staff.
It’s our prayer that we receive the impartation needed in these last days and that He will fully equip us for what lies ahead!
Day 1: Arrive at LRM Life Center by 6pm for Missions Briefing, team prayer, etc. Lights out 10pm.
Day 2: “Board flight” to destination, team-building, cultural experiences, service project, etc.
Day 3: Ministry training, Cross-cultural missions experience, clean-up, etc
May 23 - May 25
Mock Missions is a practical, hands-on missions training based on real world missions experience! Life changing!. Come experience team building, ministry training, cross cultural missions prep and more!
At Mock Missions you will be stretched! Our goal is to prepare true messengers of the gospel for any culture, in any situation. Parts of your American rough edges (or whichever country you come from) will be polished as you are groomed for world-wide service.
Day 1 will consist of introductory training and sleeping indoors (mission’s style). Day 2 you will be outdoors most of the day and sleeping outside, on the ground, in tent-like shelters. There will be lots of team-building experiences, ministry training, various real-life travel scenarios and cross cultural experiences.** Expect the unexpected in the Spirit-filled training.
Most of MM will be physically, mentally, emotionally & spiritually demanding.
Please contact the MM Coordinator if you have any special health or diet restrictions.
Minimum age is a mature 14. Anyone under age 18 will need to complete a phone interview with MM Coordinator and complete a Minor Release of Liability Form by their parents. Standards of behavior will be very high for this special training. If at any point attendees are disruptive, distracting, or uncooperative, they may be asked to leave immediately at their own expense.
If you have missions experience, a servant’s heart, a good imagination, are a good team player and love Jesus, please contact Matt Houser for more information.
